Self Love Month

We usually celebrate February with Valentine's Day. The month of love for your partner. How would it feel to celebrate you? After the rush of the holidays, the buzz of the new year, and, omg, is winter ever going to end??? We all need a little me time.


And you love yourself, right??? Right! So let's celebrate you every day of February. Nothing crazy.


Here are the rules:

  1. Let's start Sunday, January 29th, so that we have a full first week.

  2. That Sunday morning, pick one act of self care that you are going to do every single day of that week.

  3. Choose one splurge item you will do for yourself at the end of this challenge, Sunday, February 26th. Print a photo of it, and put it on your fridge, as a reminder to keep doing that act of self care every day.

  4. The following Sunday, over your morning cafecito, journal how doing that one act of self care made you feel. Then pick a different act of self care you will do for the following week.

  5. Repeat!

  6. February 26th, celebrate! :)

Small Acts of Self Care Ideas!

  • Do my night routine every night! No Skips

  • Meditate for 5 minutes in the morning

  • Journal for 10 minutes

  • No social media when I get up in the morning

  • (a favorite of mine) wake up ten minutes earlier, so I can enjoy my cup of coffee before heading to work

  • Take a 15 minute walk after dinner

  • Snuggle with my partner (or fur baby) for five minutes before getting out of bed in the morning

  • Go to sleep half hour earlier

  • Put the dishes away

  • Say my weekly affirmation while I am getting ready in the morning

  • Give myself grace

February 26th ideas!

  • Book a massage (This one might be my choice)

  • Book a facial

  • Book a babysitter for the night so that I can have alone time

  • Finally, watch that movie I have been meaning to see in theaters (Get the $12 popcorn and enjoy it!)

  • Finally, try that steak house I have been thinking about, but they need resys

  • Buy myself a matching workout set

  • Get a pedicure

  • Enjoy a day of relaxation (no errands)

  • Make myself a new dinner recipe

  • Buy a bottle of wine and listen to music

  • Go to a new town close by and explore

  • Grab lunch with that friend that you've been meaning to catch up with

Simple, easy and full of love for yourself!
